Weekly Auctions

The General Weekly auction has its roots in the livestock days but is now an unparalleled hunting ground for the browser, or serious collector. The auction contains Cottage Antiques, Victoriana, Collectors items, Household and general furnishings, Rural Bygones, Garden equipment – a myriad of goods. This diversity is made up from instructions from private and professional clients who know of the popularity of these sales, which provides our vendors with maximum exposure for their goods. Diversity has always been Abbotts trademark.

These sales take place every Monday (including some Bank Holidays) and comprise of over 700 lots – click here to view our calendar.

The auction commences at 11 a.m.

Viewing Times: Saturday morning 9 – 11 a.m.
And morning of sale from 8.30 a.m.

Three times a year within these sales we hold a Specialist section of Decorative Arts including: Art Nouveau, Art Deco, 1950’s & 1960’s Retro items etc.

In addition to the main Victoriana auction there is also taking place auctions of Game & Poultry (live and dead) and Garden Produce.

There are numerous Market Stalls on site and a teashop serving excellent homemade food. Ample Car Parking space is available, (in excess of 300 vehicles).
